What is Root Cause Therapy?
Root-Cause Therapy (RCT) key objective is to identify, defuse and release any sabotaging behavioural patterns, limiting beliefs, trauma, and or trapped emotions created from past events that are preventing you from living the life you desire.
RCT combines timeline therapy, muscle testing, guided imagery and breathwork. This method works on the physical body and all levels of your mind (conscious and subconscious). It helps you eliminate old negative emotions and limiting beliefs from the past and put new empowering thoughts and beliefs in the future so that you can truly be in the drivers seat of your thoughts, emotions, and feelings.

What to expect during your sessions?
At the start of each session, I ask a series of questions using a ' Testing Sheet' to understand your overall outcome for your session. Then, we will look a little deeper into your emotions and discuss any events, traumas and anything else currently coming up for you.
The Testing Sheet is core to this modality as it tracks your changes throughout your sessions, thus providing tangible data and pinpointing your progress in each session. Using the testing sheet and together with the sway test method, we can determine if the mind and body believe a statement and or belief is true by asking yes or no questions.
Once we understand the limiting beliefs, I will guide you into the past of your timeline to identify how a particular event has influenced your subconscious mind. Of course, you may not have any conscious memory of some events since many of our beliefs are formed before the age of 7. Still, your unconscious mind has taken everything in throughout your life and stored it, along with the associated emotions.
It is here that you can release these emotions or beliefs, and as you are fully conscious, you will have the opportunity to gain any learnings from the event.
By going back into the event, you may be wondering if you will re-live trauma, but it is no more stressful than what you live with in your everyday life each time that trauma gets triggered. The only difference is that this time we get to heal it.
Once you heal a core belief, any other connecting beliefs associated with it can fall away, and often multiple beliefs are healed in one session.
As your therapist, it is my job to help guide you safely through the entire process and make it as comfortable as possible. Your long-term healing is my greatest concern, and I will be there every step of the way for you, including follow up conversations that may be needed between sessions.

How much time will it take?
Each session generally lasts around 90 minutes to 2 hours.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people have many limiting beliefs that create negative experiences in their lives, and often just working on one belief is enough to unravel some of the other connecting ones. However, as these beliefs have built up over a lifetime, I recommend a package of 3 or 8 sessions as this will give you a chance to make a significant change within your life.

Can I book a single session?
You most certainly can. The price for a single session is $130. However, as mentioned above, I highly recommend a minimum of 3 to 8 sessions.
