What I do as an Energy Healer
As an energy healer, my healing method is based on my certifications in Reiki, Root-Cause Therapy and Zoi Method. The modalities can be used together or separately and, they work on aligning the different levels of consciousnesses (conscious, subconscious and unconscious). These techniques also align your chakras and auric fields, help make a positive change by clearing the deep unresolved issues (DUI) and/or beliefs within your past, present and future on a physical, emotional, and mental level.
Definitions:
When you are consciously aligned, you are clearer in your thinking, more decisive, more proactive, more confident, driven, and more energetic and empowered.
When you experience what I call ‘imbalance’, you will tend to worry, imagine possibilities that never happen and pursuing your goals become a challenge. The end result is that it creates a false misperceptions and discourages you from your path and purpose in life.
Tell me, is your current thoughts and/or feelings:
My aim and purpose are to help you unlock the subconscious and unconscious thoughts associated with deep unresolved issues (DUI) or deep unresolved beliefs (DUB). When these ‘blockages’ are released, you are more aligned to your conscious mind. The benefits are which are not limited to gaining more clarity, feeling calmer and being more confident. When your thinking is aligned to be ‘in the now’, you are freer to implement positive change and continue your journey in obtaining a balanced mind and balanced life.
Definitions:
- Conscious mind – self-awareness and reason; it takes in information via your 5 senses and interprets it.
- Subconscious mind (or preconscious) – stores and retrieves data; it is the part of your mind that notices and remembers information when you are not actively trying to do so and monitors your behaviours to ensure you are ‘keeping with the program’. It is always influencing your behaviour even though you may not realize it.
- Unconscious mind - the part of the mind which is inaccessible to the conscious mind. It stores all memories and past experiences, and these then influence our beliefs, habits and behaviours.

- Stopping you from getting out of your own way?

Before And After Your Healing
- Set your intention - what you want to achieve and how you want to feel after your session.
- Drink plenty of water before and after your healing.
- Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before and after your healing. The reason for this is that alcohol dulls our senses and our energies, and thus it can affect your healing.
- Set the intention to receive and keep an open mind as whatever your body and mind needs to receive is right for you at that moment in time.
- If your mind wanders or questions or ideas come into your mind, just let them be and bring your focus back to your breath.
- If you fall asleep, that is ok. When your body is in this relaxed state, it is better able to work on repairing itself.
- Ensure you are in a comfortable and relaxing environment. For example, this can be either at home, the beach or sitting in the park. If you wish, you can put on some soothing music and/or light a candle as this time is about what makes you feel comfortable.
- When receiving your healing, you can either be sitting or lying down.
- Try to avoid heading straight to the gym, reaching for your phone to check your messages and emails, or rushing off to a social engagement. The reason for this is to give yourself time to allow the healing to integrate.
- After your session, you may want to write some notes of any thoughts or feelings you felt.
- After your session, you may go through an integration or processing period, so its best to set aside some time. You may feel drained or even energised after your session (see below section for more about what you may feel/experience after a session).
What You May Feel After Your Healing
As a healing works on all levels (physical, mental, and emotional), results may not be immediately apparent after your session, so do allow the healing to integrate over time. Sometimes what needs to be integrated, released and/or healed may have many layers, and a shift may take some time.
You may not ‘feel’ anything specific during and/or after a session, and there is no right or wrong way to feel, as the experience you have is unique to you.
However, suppose you do feel something either during or after your session. In that case, it may range from a feeling of coolness, warmth or tingling, or leave you with a sense of deep relaxation, inner peace and/or you may feel energised. You may also feel tired, dazed, drained, emotional, or experience an emotional ‘hangover’ in some sessions.
A healing hangover, also known as an emotional detox, integration period or processing period, is your body’s way of letting go and freeing the emotional toxins and old thought patterns which are now coming to the surface to be fully released. It can last hours or days. When this happens, honour what your body needs, be present to what is going on within and around you. Importantly, remember to be kind and patient with yourself while you progress through your healing journey.
