Music Evokes Emotions

​The music you listen to evokes emotions and affects your behaviour. Whether listening to the radio, through an overhead supermarket speaker or via another method, music sets your mood. For example, most people will listen to music while they exercise to motivate their minds into pushing harder.
 
Music is also a key ingredient in relaxing the mind - it is a way of guiding the soul away from the day's problems and towards a tranquil plain. You feel the magic of the music pass in, and around you, we can harness this power and use it to guide us.
A tune or song that was released at a specific time in our lives can bring back a flood of emotions, but music with lyrics is also distracting. The words of a song can fade into the tune, but this is not always the case.
 
Music is creation, and this can either lead to good or bad places. Meditation, study, and sleep are delicate moments where your mind is open to impressions. Nevertheless, music is inspirational, and the sounds we listen to should help to reinforce positive thoughts and emotions. 
Listening to Music is Healing
​The initial lead into this blog is a piece of writing I wrote, and for me, music is about the whole composition, so the words and tone all need to flow, but most notably, it is about how it makes me feel.
​
Top studies show that music can help to improve the health and creativity of the listener. Tone and speed also set the mood of the music, even without words, and will speed or slow our heart rates.
​
YouTube's free music channels are perfect for sleep, meditation, mindset balance, study, focus, dancing, and improving mood. However, YouTube does place adverts at the beginning and occasionally in the middle of content  - unless you pay a monthly subscription. Consider it the cost of accessing free and unlimited music. Commercial radio stations also tend to have too much conversation, reminding you about the station you are listening to.
